Pentair | Onga Pumps
Re-branding, brand story and UX/UI design

Project overview

An outdated brand and website, coupled with low awareness, necessitated a comprehensive overhaul for Onga. The task was to devise a new brand strategy, visual identity, and website that not only paid homage to their 50+ year heritage but also seamlessly complemented their forward-looking product line, propelling them into the competitive spotlight.

The implementation of a complete brand refresh and a revamped website, featuring an updated user interface, enhanced functionality, and an overall modern design, bestowed upon Onga a fresh and contemporary appeal. This transformation streamlined the user experience, ensuring that every Onga site visitor can easily locate their desired information and depart with a lasting impression.

Drawing inspiration from visual water elements mirroring the nature of the brand’s products, Onga’s rejuvenated identity and corresponding website elevated the brand and its online presence to the status of an iconic Australian household name, especially in the realm of specialty pump and irrigation solutions.

Role

Creative Direction and design for the rebranding involved merging creative vision with hands-on design. Conceptual work for both the brand and website, shaping a cohesive identity across platforms. Providing guidance to the design team throughout the development of the new website, ensuring a seamless balance between the fresh brand aesthetics and the functional aspects of the website.
